About Us

Cerulean is a small firm founded by several successful business executives with more than 46 years of accountability for compliance, new product development and the bottom line.

 

Our goal is to help our clients increase the effectiveness of their regulatory compliance, quality assurance, new product development, records management and IT programs.

Our company name comes from the color "cerulean" (suh • roo • lee • uhn) blue - from the Latin caelum or caeruleaum = sky or heavens.  Cerulean is often used in poetry as "...the color of an October sky...."

 

Our logo is a stylized version of the medieval Japanese symbol known as the "spiral of potential energy."

 

We are headquartered in Williamsburg, Virginia near the College of William & Mary.
